In the stillness of December, Teza’s global team converged on Château Rochefort. Nestled in the heart of the French countryside, the château became more than a venue — it was a living, breathing character in the story of this year’s conference, Orthogonal Minds.

For three days, its beautiful walls embraced us, and its grand halls became our shared sanctuary. By day, we explored the intellectual edges of our disciplines, and by night, we gathered around tables laden with exquisite French cuisine, weaving stories and building bonds that felt destined to last.

What set this year apart was the way the Château transformed into a true home. The hosts, with an elegance that seemed effortless, anticipated our needs and infused every moment with warmth. Meals were not mere sustenance but celebrations of flavor and craft, each dish a reminder of the care and artistry that define French culture. It wasn’t just an event — it was a shared life for three days.

The program unfolded with the rhythm of a well-composed symphony. On the first day, we arrived and stepped into a world removed from the ordinary. Presentations on alpha and beta as well as the talk about Nobel Prize Winners sparked ideas and set a tone of curiosity and collaboration. As twilight descended, we dined together, savoring not only the food but the conversations that accompanied it.

The second day expanded on this foundation, with lectures that invited us to think about music, literature, and history of culture, and team discussions that brought clarity to our ambitions. By evening, the Château’s lounge buzzed with laughter and the sound of glasses raised in celebration.

Day three saw us venture into Paris, where the city’s timeless elegance offered inspiration and perspective. Upon returning to the Château, we marked the conference’s conclusion with a Year-End Party.

Orthogonal Minds wasn’t about grand gestures or fleeting moments of inspiration. It was about the quiet power of connection: with our work, with each other, and with the space that held us. As we left Château Rochefort, we carried with us not only the knowledge gained but also a sense of belonging and a renewed commitment to the path ahead.

Some places linger in memory not because of their grandeur but because of the way they make you feel. Château Rochefort will remain in our minds not as a backdrop but as an integral part of this story — a place where ideas flourished, friendships deepened, and a team found its center.
